Satisfactory Academic Progress Review for Spring 2015 eligibility begins
As grades for Fall 2014 classes are reported, our office will review all students who were on Probation, Warning or Not Meets. Students who meet the minimum requirements, once all fall grades are reviewed, will have their SAP status set back to Meets and any pending financial aid will be cleared for disbursement. Students who are failing to meet the minimum requirements, but have met the terms of their probation will be cleared for disbursement. Students who are not meeting the minimum requirements of the SAP policy (or their probation terms) will be set to Not Meets and do not qualify for further aid until a SAP appeal has been approved, or the students grades and completion ratio have been brought back to the minimum requirements. Please review the SAP Policy.  You can also check your SAP status in the left-hand column of your MyUB Portal.

      November 2014
Spring and Winter registration begins soon
Check your student account to make sure all fall aid disbursed and that you do not have an outstanding bill. Unpaid bills will block future enrollment. Students enrolling in winter coursework should contact their financial aid counselor to see how winter enrollment may affect their aid for spring. Students registering for winter and spring should be advised that, although winter coursework will count towards your enrollment status in the spring and potentially allow financial aid funds awarded to the spring to be paid towards winter balances, there is no financial aid disbursed to the winter term. Therefore, students who wish for their spring aid to cover their winter balance will need to register for winter and spring at the same time to prevent a hold on their account due to unpaid winter balances. Registration dates and deadlines can be found at University Registrar Academic Calendar.
