The Coordinator Special Program (CSP) position for the Hepatitis B Vaccination Pilot (HBVP) Project is responsible for the overall program management and implementation of this project.

The CSP will provide hepatitis education and program technical assistance to local health department and community based organization participants in the start-up activities of the HBVP Project.  Additionally, the CSP will provide instruction regarding the CDC required data elements and collection schedule as well as guidance regarding the collection of data and tools to be utilized for data collection and technical assistance (TA) regarding the data entry requirements related to the Immunet Registry.

The CSP will initiate, coordinate and monitor the Quality Improvement aspects of the HBVP Project.  The CSP is the contact person to the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (MD DHMH) staff regarding the HBVP Project.  The CSP Coordinates with the DHMH Immunization Program representative for ordering of vaccine for the network of participating local health departments and community based organizations who are in compliance with established data collection and data submission requirements and deadlines.  The CSP will monitor the levels of the vaccine supply throughout the network of participants and coordinate for the transfer of vaccine over-supply to local health department participants in needs of additional vaccine supply and able to use this vaccine in a timely manner prior to expiration.

The CSP is responsible for the creation and timely submission of the Monthly, Interim and Annual Reporting requirements to the CDC.  The CSP will provide guidance and TA to the data entry clerk regarding the Immunet Registry.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, social work, nursing, human services, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience in health or human services.

•You can use the first day of the month wherever dates are required.
•Click the plus sign to the left of "References" to enter two professional references.
•After you enter your education information and references, click “Save,” then click “Next.”

•After you enter this information, click “Save,” then click “Next.”

4. Online Questionnaire/Application Questionnaire: There are three questions requiring a yes or no response. After you answer these three questions, click “Submit.” This leads you to the Submit Online Application page.
