Mission

The Bank of America Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Technology (CELTT) is the locus for faculty members and staff to engage in issues of significance with respect to learning, teaching, and technology; for promoting and sharing best practices; and for enhancing the climate of teaching and learning at the University of Baltimore.

 

Call for Applications: Fall 2014 Semester and Year-Long Faculty Cohorts

Application guidelines and forms are now available for four CELTT faculty cohorts, two targeted for the Fall 2014 semester and two targeted for the academic year 2014-2015. Applicants must be available for the specified workshop and meeting times. Please see the individual guidelines for details. 

 

Cohort on Community-Based Learning

Time period: Summer workshop (July 8 and 10) + Fall 2014 semester and January 2015 wrap-up. 

Target  Audience: All regular faculty members (including tenured, tenure-track, and lecture faculty) are eligible to apply. No knowledge of or experience with community-based learning is required.

Cohort on Continuous Improvement in Online/Hybrid Courses 

Time period: Summer workshop (July 28 [face to face] and July 29-August 1 [online]) + Fall 2014 semester

Target Audience : All regular faculty members (including tenured, tenure-track, and lecture faculty) are eligible to apply. Applicants must have taught at least one online or hybrid course at UB (or previous institution) prior to fall 2014 and must be teaching a fully online or hybrid course in fall 2014.

Time period: Summer workshop (July 11 and August 15) + Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 semesters
