International Students

You are studying abroad. Learn of ways to help supplement your finances!

Undergraduate international students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships which are awarded at the time of admission.  Graduate and professional international students may be considered for other institutional and Foundation scholarships.

International students should be prepared to finance, either privately or through a sponsor, the full cost of their education as international students are not eligible to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and receive need-based aid either from United States Government or UB.  To determine eligibility in completing the FAFSA, click here.

Because sources of financial aid to study in the US are extremely limited, you will have to be resourceful and explore every possibility. In addition to the sources listed below, we recommend searching the FastWeb database because it is free and has good coverage of the awards available for international students.
