In celebration of Black History Month, the College of Public Affairs, in cooperation with the Morgan State University Urban Research Institute, the Howard University School of Divinity (Baltimore Alumni Chapter), and Associated Black Charities, presents a panel discussion among leaders who have had a great impact on public and social policy in Baltimore.
With the passing of both Rev. Marion Bascom and Rev. Vernon Dobson, many questions have been raised about this group of predominantly African-American men of faith and the origins of their advocacy. This event is intended to explore these questions while appreciating the depth of their impact on the social conditions of blacks in Baltimore.
