University of Baltimore's Student Health Clinic at University of Maryland Immediate Care

The University of Baltimore uses the University of Maryland's Immediate Care (UMIC) facility for all student health services. UMIC is dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care in a friendly and expedient manner. The office sees itself as your "doctor away from home." The staff maintain a policy of strict confidentiality and will not release information without the student's written permission.

UMIC is located at 408 W. Lombard St. between Eutaw and Paca St. Practice hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. To make an appointment call 410.328.1362.

Administrative hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. To contact the office staff call 410.328.6791

Be sure to bring your Bee Card with you, and your Social Security Number. Co-payment costs are dependent upon your insurance carrier. All payments are made up front.

  • University of Maryland Immediate Care Services

    Routine student health care services and immunization administration is provided by the University of Maryland Immediate Care office. Services provided include:

    • Annual check-ups*
    • Routine gynecological examinations, including Pap Smears*
    • Birth control pills available by prescription
    • Acute and chronic visits
    • Neurological testing
    • Family planning
    • Treatment of minor injuries
    • Allergy shot administration
    • Blood pressure screening
    • Diagnostic and laboratory testing

     *By appointment only

    A doctor can be reached after hours and on weekends at 410.328.8792 no matter which practice you have received care from. Do not go directly to the emergency room unless the situation is life threatening. A  call to University of Maryland Immediate Care can save you money, time, and frustration.

    PPD skin testing and other immunizations are available Monday and Friday 9-10 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. as well as Tuesday-Thursday 9-10 a.m. and noon-1 p.m. No TB skin tests are placed on Thursdays. No appointments are necessary. Students are served on a first come/first served basis. 

  • University of Maryland Family and Community Medicine

    For those requiring continuity, chronic care or obstetrical care. Mostly by appointment, but walk-in care is available. University of Maryland Family and Community Medicine is located at 29 S. Paca St. To make an appointment or for more information call 410.328.8792.

    Monday: 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
    Tuesday: 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m.
    Wednesday: 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m.
    Thursday: 8:30 a.m-7 p.m.
    Friday: 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m.
