The Division of Applied Behavioral Sciences of the innovative Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Baltimore invites applications for an open-rank position to contribute primarily to our undergraduate psychology program, beginning in August 2014.
Area of specialization is open, but special consideration will be given to candidates with teaching experience in one or more of these or related areas: physiological psychology, cognitive psychology, and/or human development. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to and demonstrated evidence of college-level teaching, demonstrated research productivity or potential for scholarly productivity, and a service record commensurate with experience. Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Psychology.
Position responsibilities include
• Teaching undergraduate and possibly graduate courses in psychological research methods and statistics as well as undergraduate courses commensurate with the candidate’s experience;
• Developing and maintaining a program of scholarly activity conducive to the earning of tenure at the University of Baltimore;
• Other service to the division and on college and university committees as needed and appropriate.

The Division of Applied Behavioral Sciences, located within the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, has eight full-time faculty members. At the undergraduate level, the Division offers a B.A. in Psychology, as well as a minor in Psychology. At the graduate level, the Division offers an M.S. in Applied Psychology, with tracks in counseling psychology and industrial/organizational psychology, as well as a post-master’s certificate in professional counseling studies.
