Every year the Center promotes and sponsors an Ethics Essay Contest open to all students attending the University of Baltimore. The aim of the essay contest is to encourage students to think and write about ethics from the perspective of their disciplines and to reward those students who produce an exceptional paper.

Anyone enrolled in a program of study at the University of Baltimore during academic year 2009-2010. (Undergraduate, Graduate, Liberal Arts, Business, and Law.)
| Guidelines: |
Please Note: All Essays should substantially reflect students'own critical thinking and position on ethical issues.

| Topic: |
Any critical essay (not a report or a traditional research paper) on personal, professional, business, or social ethics.
|
| Eligibility: |
Any papers on an ethical issue submitted for course requirements ARE eligible.
|
| Format: |
Follow any accepted guidelines for research paper (example: Turabian or MLA style sheet).
|
| Length: |
Paper must be approximately 5-7 pages.
|
| Submission: |
Paper must be submitted in triplicate,
typed and double-spaced with cover sheet (include title of paper,
student’s name, address, phone number and degree program).
