In addition to UB scholarships offered to high-achieving students, the Helen P. Denit Honors Program offers additional financial awards exclusively to Denit Honors Scholars.

Denit Honors students traveled for service and study abroad opportunities to the following destinations:

With the help of a $1000 award, students recently completed internships at the following organizations:

Denit Honors Scholars also enjoy free registration, travel and accommodations at various academic and leadership conference

Congratulations to Denit Honors Scholar Tanyeka Alexander, a senior in the University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business, is the recipient of a 2014-15 AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Alexander, an intern in the tax department of the Baltimore headquarters of the CliftonLarsonAllen accounting firm, is the only student from Maryland to receive the award. More than 1,100 students nationwide applied for the scholarship; 10 were selected. Read more.
