Official SAT or ACT score report sent from the testing service to the University of Baltimore Admissions Office. The SAT institutional/school code for UB is 5810; the ACT code is 1744.
English language proficiency. A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based) or an IELTS score of 6.0 is required of all non-native English speakers who have completed less than three years of study at a U.S. high school.
Admissions essay. Submit an essay/personal statement of 250-500 words describing one of the following: the major that interests you at UB and why; what about UB makes you believe it's the school for you; a significant experience and its impact on you; or another topic of your choice (A graded school paper may be substituted for the writing sample).
Estimate of Annual Expenses (F-1 students only). Your sponsor must submit two documents: a signed letter and a current bank statement. The letter must guarantee that 100% of your tuition and living expenses will be provided throughout your study program at UB, generally four years. The bank statement must show that funds are available to cover your first year expenses in full. Review the Estimate of Annual Expenses for international students with your sponsor.
