A Night with Aaron Draplin: Welcome Reception & Public Lecture (Free event) 

Monday April 3, 2017 - Welcome Reception  5-6:30pm, Public Lecture 7-9pm

We will be hosting a welcome reception for Aaron Draplin from 5-6:630pm in the Willam H. Thumel Business Center Atrium. We will have tons of food and drinks. Members of AIGA Baltimore will be in attendance.

Following the reception, there will be a public lecture from 7-9 p.m. in the Willam H. Thumel Business Center Auditorium. Tickets are selling for $30 but we are offering 50 free tickets for UB students - so R.S.V.P now to reserve your seat on orgsync and bring your student id for entry.

Print’s not dead! Let this talk be proof. From the contracts to the scheming, from the pagination to the design, from the tears to the nightmares…Aaron Draplin shares the entire story behind Draplin Design Co.'s newest book Pretty Much Everything. Yes, the book has typos – and so does life. Hear Aaron speak about what it’s like to cram your whole half-wit career into 256 pages. The entire presentation is dipped in Pantone Orange 021 A full DDC merch table will be in effect, along with a book signing of the highest order. All Baltimore citizens are invited!

Lecture is 70-75 minutes, along with as much Q & A as the room can take.

**We are also hosting another event that day a workshop event with Aaron Draplin. The workshop is being held from 2-4 p.m. in the Business Center Auditorium this event is free for UB students but you will have R.S.V.P for that event at
