The M.F.A. Reading Series welcomes poet Charif Shanahan. Shanahan will read from his book of poems Into Each Room We Enter without Knowing. Q&A and book signing to follow.
Shanahan is winner of the Crab Orchard First Book Poetry Prize. He has received awards and fellowships from the Academy of American Poets, the Cave Canem Foundation, the Frost Place, the Fulbright Program, the Millay Colony for the Arts, and the Starworks Foundation. A 2016 nominee for the Puschart Prize, he is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University.
