Professor Sergio Dellavalle will present the Stead Seminar on "Diversity, Justice and the Plurality of Legal Norms."

Sergio Dellavalle is Professor of General Theory of Public Law at the University of Turin, an Associate Member of the Cluster of Excellence on Normative Orders at the University of Frankfurt, and Co-director (with Prof. Dr Armin von Bogdandy) of the research project Paradigms of Public Order at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg.

Professor Dellavalle will discuss the simultaneous presence of different normative and institutional orders within the same territory and how systems theory, post-modernism, and discourse theory address the post-unitary legal world.
