About the Guest Speaker:

Rebecca Ranich is an international executive and hands-­?on leader with extensive experience in capital intense energy and infrastructure sectors at both the executive and operational levels. She brings a strategic perspective and risk management expertise, with proven business acumen in a career that spans engineering, energy, environmental and business management services.  
 
Rebecca is a member of the Board of Directors of Questar Corporation (NYSE: STR); a Rockies based integrated natural gas company.  Since 2008 she has been a member of the Board of Directors (serves as Vice-­?Chairman) of the Gas Technology Institute (GTI). She is a member of the National Petroleum Council and has been a director on other private and non-­?profit boards since 1994.
 
Most recently, she was a Director at Deloitte Consulting, LLP with executive responsibility to lead Deloitte’s Federal Government Energy and Sustainability Advisory services. She advised federal executives on energy supply / demand and climate change investments resulting in nearly $1billion of investments in energy efficiency, infrastructure, renewable and off-­?grid power.    
 
Prior to joining Deloitte, Ranich was a Vice President with Michael Baker Corporation with executive responsibility for Europe and former Soviet Union operations.  During her tenure with the engineering firm she was resident in London, England and managed operations on three continents. For more than a decade Rebecca was involved in a number of major oil and gas investment projects in the Russian Federation, the Arctic and Central Asia.    

Rebecca is a frequent speaker on energy, infrastructure and climate investments at industry
forums such as; National Association of Manufacturers, American Gas Association, Corporate Eco Forum, Aspen Institute, Duke University, Woodrow Wilson Center, Greater Houston Partnership, US Department of Energy.
