Active Minds is the nation's only peer-to-peer organization dedicated to mental health awareness among college students. The organization serves as the young adult voice in mental health advocacy on over seventy college campuses nationwide. The University chapter was formed in 2007.
ULifeline is a program sponsored by the Jed Foundation, the leading organization to prevent suicide and to improve the mental health of college students. ULifeline is an anonymous, confidential, online resource where college students can comfortably search for information about mental health and suicide prevention. Currently, more than 600 colleges and universities participate in the ULifeline Network nationwide. Counseling Services has recently joined the ULifeline Network, and the UB community now has access to its vast resources.
