Play this trivia game to discover how the Office of Community Life and the Dean of Students can help you reach your goals. The first 100 participants each day will win a prize; play all three days for a chance to win the grand prize.

Meet UB

Gordon Plaza
Find out about campus departments, offices and organizations at this all-campus resource fair. Eubie will make an appearance for photo opportunities, and a raffle for Baltimore Orioles' tickets will be held.

Official Welcome
4-4:30 p.m.
Gordon Plaza
A University-wide welcome with remarks by our new president, Kurt Schmoke. Get to know the University creed and sing along to the UB alma mater.

Picnic on the Plaza
4:30-6 p.m.
Gordon Plaza
Enjoy picnic fare-including hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers-with your classmates.

VIP Shopping Extravaganza
8-10 p.m.
Barnes & Noble at the University of Baltimore
Stop by the bookstore for exclusive discounts and sales, raffles and a life DJ. Everyone entering will receive a free swag bag, coupons and other free samples.

Wednesday, Sept. 3

UB Recreation Day
11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Gordon Plaza
Join Campus Recreation and Wellness for an afternoon of games and competitions, including a tricycle race and a free-throw challenge. Prizes will be awarded.

A UB Gathering
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Mount Royal Ave.
Bring some lunch money so you can sample food from The Gathering, a roving food truck festival in Baltimore.

Library Cupcake Party
3-4 p.m.
Langsdale Library
Learning Commons, third floor
Stop by for an open house and a sweet snack.

UB at the Ballpark
6-9 p.m.
Join UB in cheering on the Baltimore Orioles as they face off against the Cincinnati Reds.
Meet on Gordon Plaza at 6 p.m.; we'll take the free Charm City Circulator to the ballpark as a group.

Thursday, Sept. 4

2-10 p.m.
Gordon Plaza
The Student Events Board and Student Government Association welcomes students back with a barbeque bash. There will be food and fun—plus a movie once the sun goes down.
