Crowdfunding:
Is It Right For You?

In celebration of Financial Literacy month in April, the University of Baltimore’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) is partnering with Operation Hope and the Small Business Administration to host the workshop “Crowdfunding: Is It Right For You?”

The discussion will center on the history of crowdfunding, what is going on right now with this particular type of capitalization, the federal Securities Exchange Commission's proposed ruling, and how our students, alumni, and the greater community can take advantage of using this investment tool as the next level of funding.
