Athletes have long understood that their state of mind is connected with their performance. In business this connection is not as understood.
Yet state of mind affects everything that impacts the bottom line--the ability to innovate, the ability to work effectively in teams, the ability to use organizational intelligence, and on and on.
Brownstein's talk will explain state of mind and its connection to the bottom line. He'll explore with the audience how a simple understanding about the nature of what generates our experience will lift our state of mind and our effectiveness for the better.
Brownstein is a professor of economics and leadership at the University of Baltimore. He is the author of The Inner-Work of Leadership, a book that has been described by one CEO as, “One of the most important books I have read.”
