This course will expose students to successful business practices in what is arguably the most vibrant economy in Latin America. Chile, once ruled by a leftist government, adopted US style economics and changed direction to a stable free-market economy that has garnered international investment, grown significantly, and become a world class competitor.

Course Description
This study abroad course fullfils the requirements for: MGMT498/798 Marketing Strategy in Latin America (counts as a MGMT or MKTG elective) Course Prerequisites: Completion of MKTG 301 or equivalent Length: 1 week during the winterim session. The actual travel dates to Chile will be January 15-22, 2011. Martin Luther King Day lies within this period to reduce the number of vacation days from work.

This tour features visits to successful companies in Chile which are models of marketing strategy.
