The University of Baltimore will officially become a "Yellow Ribbon School" this fall, joining a select number of college campuses participating in a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs program to support qualified veteran students who are using the Post-9/11 GI Bill by offering grants or scholarships toward the cost of tuition not covered by the bill.
UB will offer $1,000 to 10 of these students starting with the fall 2014 semester, and the VA will match those funds.
