Spring 2015 Reading Series Welcomes Novelists, Poets and More

The University of Baltimore's M.F.A. Reading Series has announced its spring 2015 season, featuring a mix of outstanding novelists, poets, artists and more. All readings will be held on campus, and are free and open to the public. Here they are:
- March 23, 7 p.m.: The Baltimore Ekphrasis Project will have launch party and reading to celebrate the writers and artists participating in the project. It will take place in the Bogomolny Room in the UB Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave.
- March 30, 7 p.m.: Poet Joe Harrison presents a reading and book launch.
- April 7: noon: A celebration of National Poetry Month, taking place in the Liberal Arts and Policy Building Theater (Room 308), 10 W. Preston St.
- April 22, 7 p.m.: Pulitzer Prize winning author Michael Chabon (UB's Klein Family School of Communications Design writer in residence), reading in the Moot Court Room in the John and Francis Angelos Law Center (home to the UB School of Law), with a reception and book signing to follow. The Angelos Law Center is located at 1420 N. Charles St.
- May 4, 7 p.m.: Book release party and reading for UB's new literary journal, Skelter, in the Bogomolny Room.
- May 8, time to be announced: A Reading and Publication Party for students graduating from the M.F.A. program, to be held in the Wright Theater.
