Interviewed in The Washington Post, Steve Isberg, professor of finance in the University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business, says that local businesses damaged in the recent civil unrest may not be able to bounce back—and if that happens, the negative effects are likely to ripple out across neighborhoods.
"If those local businesses don’t come back, it affects the vibrancy of these types of neighborhoods," Isberg said.
Isberg also was interviewed by CBS News and Fox 45 on the same topic.
