As part of the University of Baltimore's Day of Service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 18, dozens of members of the UB community will partner with The 6th Branch and the Re-Build Johnston Square Neighborhood Association to help revitalize a community in East Baltimore.
Starting at 9 a.m., students will combine forces with volunteers from throughout Baltimore to undertake neighborhood revitalization, doing light manual labor and clean up. Later, the group will reflect on the day's activities in the context of King's legacy.
Sign-ups are still available for members of the UB community. Get the details here.
