Financial Aid Information for Parents and Families
At UBalt, we work very hard to help families maximize their financial aid options
and provide clear guidance to help students achieve their educational goals. Financial
aid counselors are available to you and your child at anytime to offer direction and
advice in areas relating to financial aid and student accounts.
While we encourage you to read through our website for more detailed information,
we've highlighted a few key points that parents really need to know.
All Financial Aid notices are sent electronically to your student.
TheMyUBalt Portalis where your student can view his or her financial aid award, financial aid timeline, and
the To Do list (which lists all required documentation). AnetID and passwordare required to log in.
TheFederal Direct Parent PLUS Loanis available to parents of dependent undergraduate students to help your family cover
the cost of your student’s education.
University of Baltimore faculty and staff are committed to ensuring your student's
rights are maintained under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Your student is the owner of his or her records and university officials will need
the permission from your student in order to discuss his or her account with you.
