If you're a current high school student enrolled in both high school and college courses, you may qualify for guaranteed admission to UBalt, along with merit-based scholarships up to $6,000 per year.
Eligibility Requirements:
Participate in a dual enrollment program (UBalt-sponsored or through another USM institution or Maryland Community College)
Earn a grade of “C” or better in a General Education math or writing course
Graduate high school or earn a GED within 3 years of your desired start term
Have a 2.75 weighted high school GPA
Score 1000 SAT (with no single score below 400) or 16 ACT
Apply by April 1 for fall or November 1 for spring
Complete the UBalt application process
How to Apply:
Submit the First-time Undergraduate Application and indicate you're enrolled in both high school and a college/university.

Bard Early College (BEC) students who meet the following criteria are guaranteed admission to UBalt:
On track to complete the BEC program
Earn the Associate Degree or at least 60 college credits from BEC
Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in the college program at the time of application

For BEC students with 29 or fewer college credits (excluding AP credits):
Complete the First-time Undergraduate Application, including all required documents
Meet first-time undergraduate admission requirements
Be eligible for undergraduate scholarships
Participate in the First Year Experience program
For BEC students with 30-59 college credits (excluding AP credits):
Complete the Transfer Application, including all required documents
Be eligible for transfer-level scholarships
Take the Introductory Experience Course
Option to join the First Year Experience program
For BEC students with 60+ college credits (including AP credits):
Complete the Transfer Application, including all required documents
Be eligible for transfer-level scholarships
Take the Introductory Experience Course (no First Year Experience program)
For BEC students not meeting guaranteed admission criteria:
Apply as a first-year or transfer student, as appropriate
College credits will be applied toward your UBalt degree, provided you earn a grade of C or better
