"Graduating from UBalt laid the solid foundation for my entrepreneurial journey, and it was flexible for me while serving in the military. Since then, I've earned a Master of Social Work degree, delved into civil rights policy and equal employment opportunity, and most recently, obtained certifications in diversity and inclusion. These diverse roles have enriched my skill set and empowered me to launch two impactful ventures: Nehi Cares and Diverse Children’s Books Matter. Most recently, I proudly published my first children's book, I Love My Daddy, a colorful and heartwarming story that celebrates the unique bond between a little girl and her father. I recommend UBalt to anyone looking for a diverse school that offers flexibility, especially for a working professional."

"I am immensely grateful to the entire team in the Career and Internship Center for their assistance and support as I embarked on a search for a full-time job. I was able to practice interviewing, fine-tune my resume, and learn about my unique Strengths, all in my appointments with the CIC. It’s with their help that I was able to land a full-time Marketing Coordinator position after graduation."

"The Career and Internship Center has been indispensable to my career preparation. Transitioning from a manufacturing job into one related to my major, Human Services Administration, presented challenges and was anxiety provoking. From a personality assessment to resume review to mocked interviews, at every step, it has assisted me. Two weeks prior to graduation, I was offered and accepted a position with a local nonprofit in a program management position."

"After moving to the U.S., I decided to change fields and re-started college from scratch. The University of Baltimore was my first and only choice, as they offered the program I wanted, M.S. in Industrial Organizational Psychology, with the perks that made all the difference, such as the Global Field Study opportunities. Towards the conclusion of my graduate degree, the Career and Internship Center has been essential in my transition from academia to a career aligned with my field. The support I received, from identifying my strengths to refining my resume and preparing for interviews, was invaluable. With the dedication, expertise, and guidance of the CIC team, I confidently secured a full-time summer internship as a Researcher at SHRM, one of my top-choice companies. The support I received made all the difference in landing this opportunity, and I'm excited to embark on this new chapter in my professional journey. Special thanks to the CIC team for their unwavering support throughout my career transition."

"I am a First Generation College Student and mother of 3. I started my educational journey in 2019 at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) in their GED program after becoming a mother at 17 and shifting priorities to focus on my family. Then I transitioned into their college to my undergraduate degree in Human Service Counseling and Advanced Behavioral Health Certification. I graduated from CCBC in the Spring of 2021 with Honors and a 4.0 GPA. I started at UBalt in the Fall of 2021, majoring in Human Service Administration and minoring in Psychology. On May 24, 2023, I graduated with honors with my BS in Human Service Administration. While the journey so far makes me proud, I am more than excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic journey in the Fall of 2023 as I was accepted into UBalt's Masters in Applied Psychology program, where my selected track will be Practitioner Specialization. I can't wait for this new journey to begin, and I am super excited to take everyone along with me."
