Clinical Education Application Forms

Fall 2025 Law Clinic Applications are now CLOSED.

STAY TUNED FOR THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR SPRING 2026.

Important note:  As a student attorney, you will represent people with pressing legal needs. 6 credit clinics require a minimum average of 20 hours every week and enough scheduling flexibility to attend court, client meetings, etc. that may be unpredictable or inconvenient for your regular schedule. Please be prepared to use vacation time from your paid job, excused or unexcused law school absences, and other strategies as needed to make time for your clinic obligations. Your right to continued enrollment in a clinic is conditioned upon a record of attendance satisfactory to the professor, who may compel you to withdraw from the course with an “FA” grade if you cannot meet clinic obligations. Each clinic has different scheduling needs and many are evening-friendly, so we recommend clarifying scheduling concerns before submitting this application if possible, so that you can rank your clinic preferences properly and, if needed, have sufficient time to seek an Externship if a suitable clinic is not available.  See the Clinic Attendance Policy as well as the standard Attendance Policy in the Student Handbook for more details.  By submitting this application, you agree that your schedule will allow for competent representation of your clients.
