The University of Baltimore School of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association,
Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admission to the Bar. The School of
Law Juris Doctor (JD) degree program has been approved by the Maryland Higher Education
Commission, and graduates of this program meet the educational requirements for the
degree of Juris Doctor (JD). The School of Law Master of Laws (LLM) degree program
has been approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission and graduates of the
LLM program meet the educational requirements for the LLM degree.
Eligibility of JD and LLM graduates to qualify for professional licensure varies by
each state, territory and jurisdiction. The University of Baltimore School of Law
has not made a determination if its JD or LLM education programs satisfy the educational
requirements for licensure in any state, U.S. territory, or protectorate. Applicants
and students and should consult the appropriate licensing authorities to confirm if
the University of Baltimore School of Law JD or LLM program meets the criteria for
licensure in the state(s) in which they wish to be professionally licensed.
