Paula Kerger, B.S. ’79, has been named president and CEO of the Public Broadcasting Service.
Kerger, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Educational Broadcasting Corporation, the parent company of New York's WNET and WLIW stations, will begin her new position on March 13.
The University of Baltimore Alumni Magazine profiled Kerger in its fall 2004 edition.
“My UB degree was fabulous,” Kerger told the magazine at the time. “I really credit the University with putting me on a path to success.”
