Schaefer Center's Ann Cotten Receives USM Board of Regents Staff Award

Dr. Ann Cotten, B.S. '85, M.S. '86, CERT '92, D.P.A. '03, executive director of The University of Baltimore's Schaefer Center for Public Policy, is a recipient of a University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents Staff Award. Dr. Cotten who was selected in the category of Extraordinary Public Service to the University or Greater Community, was among this year's recipients to be feted at a special ceremony hosted by the USM on Sept. 20 at the Rita Rossi Colwell Center. The awards are the highest honor presented by the board to exemplary staff members.
In a letter to Dr. Cotten, USM Chancellor Jay A. Perman and Board of Regents Chair Linda R. Gooden wrote, "Your work and commitment bring honor to all of us who are part of the University System of Maryland. We are proud and appreciative of your exemplary service."
