Dr. Denise Turley, vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and an influential voice in artificial intelligence (AI) and leadership, will lead a discussion for the final 2024 edition of The University of Baltimore's AI in Practice webinar series on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at noon via Zoom. Dr. Turley's session, "The Future with AI: Balancing Opportunity and Inequity," will explore the ways that AI is transforming business and education, with an emphasis on personalized learning, improved accessibility, and expanded opportunities for underserved communities. At the same time that these positive developments are happening, AI can also introduce biases, widen the digital divide, and pose privacy concerns.
As Vice President of Corporate Systems at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Turley drives the strategic development of enterprise-wide technology solutions. Her leadership extends beyond the corporate realm into academia, where she serves as an assistant professor at the University of the Southwest, guiding future leaders through inclusive and technology-driven educational practices. Additionally, Dr. Turley is a member of CDO Magazine's Global Editorial Board.
