The M.S. in Health Administration is the terminal degree for professionals seeking an advanced career in the health care management field.

 

The program enhances and strengthens the applied management skills of students by exposing them to high-quality courses in management and policy analysis, epidemiology, quantitative methods, and financial and information technology fields. Health Administration students are trained to analyze issues and formulate solutions to the critical problems confronting health care management organizations in the 21st century.

 

The M.S. in Health Administration addresses the learning goals for the University by teaching students to think critically and creatively about problems in the health care field. Students also learn to solve health specific problems using statistical and program evaluation techniques. Detailed and specific knowledge of the health care field is developed which promotes engagement in the profession at the managerial level. Online and in-person coursework facilitates communication skills across different media. Students develop skills to stay connected to the local and international health care communities.
