Earn your degree in as few as 18 months or work at your own pace.
We recognize the importance of work-life-education balance, so we offer flexible learning options for working professionals. Our on-campus business classes begin at 6 p.m., with some offered in a hybrid format (combining in-person and online learning) and all of our online classes are available asynchronously. You also have the choice to take a part-or full-time course load—and you can change your mind every semester.
The School of Business offers the Flex MBA two ways—the more "traditional," in-person, evening classes with online classes as an option -or - our fully online program, where you never have to come to campus (unless you want to). This 39-credit program has ten Core Courses and three additional courses that you choose.
The flexibility comes in all sorts of ways.
Choose the UBalt Flex MBA that allows you customize your program or choose one of our 12 predefined specializations.
Just like our more traditional program, you can choose nine credits in the Flex Online MBA to best fit your goals or you can choose one of the four specializations.
We have built dual-degree programs here at UBalt and with our sister institution, the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
The UBalt MBA and UMBC's M.S. in Engineering Management have collaborated to offer opportunities to both our student bodies.
One more option for our Flex MBA is to take your courses in Hagerstown, Maryland at the University System of Maryland's regional higher education center that serves western part of the state.
The M.S. in Accounting and Business Advisory program is a STEM-designated program. That means you'll have the opportunity to take courses that prepare you for today's workforce needs. This program offers a specialization in Data Analytics too. This is a 30-credit program.
This program also offers in-person courses at Towson University.
The Accounting Fundamentals Certificate aligns with the M.S. in Accounting and Business Advisory Services program.
