Joyson Balisamore, B.A. '23, a new student in The University of Baltimore's Entrepreneurship Opportunity Scholars MBA program and the founder of Jay's Watermelonade, is featured in a downtown Baltimore billboard campaign highlighting positive changemakers in the city.
Balisamore, an entrepreneur and graduate of UBalt's Merrick School of Business, tells WBAL-TV that he is proud to be part of the campaign, which is the result of a partnership between Innovation Works, Orange Barrel Media and IKE Smart City.
"As a kid, I wanted to be known for something, and to have my face now on screens across Baltimore, it's honestly a dream come true," Balisamore says.
