The University of Baltimore's start-up community—student entrepreneurs, business owners, and ordinary people with extraordinary ideas—are invited to attend the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation's "Startup Maryland Day" Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
Are you an entrepreneur? Have you dreamed of starting or do you run your own company? Or are you simply interested in supporting the growth of entrepreneurship in Baltimore? By being part of this celebration, you'll get to meet, learn from, and cheer on some of the area's most promising and successful business leaders. Among the activities will be a chance to pitch your business concepts in front of entrepreneurial experts.
Now in its 12th year, Startup Maryland's "Pitch Across Maryland" bus tour will stop at The University of Baltimore for an afternoon of activities beginning at 2 p.m. outside UBalt's Thumel Business Center, home of the Merrick School of Business, 11 W. Mt. Royal Ave.
This year's event will feature workshops, opportunities to work on your pitch, network with like-minded people, and more. There's something for anyone looking to join Baltimore's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Free and open to the public, "Pitch Across Maryland" events include:
- how-to workshops taught by leading subject matter experts
- a chance to record your "elevator pitch" on the "STRT1UP Road Show" bus
- meeting and mingling with investors, business leaders, and other like-minded people
Seating is limited, so register here today.
