The University of Baltimore's Merrick School of Business has maintained accreditation of its business degree programs from AACSB International, following a periodic review by the organization's Peer Review Team with concurrence from its Continuous Improvement Review Committee and ratification by its Board of Directors.
AACSB is "the global standard-setting body for business education, strengthening the world’s business schools through accreditation, thought leadership, and transformative learning," according to its website. The Merrick School of Business has held AACSB accreditation since 1983. Only 6 percent of the world's business schools hold the accreditation—1,000 business schools in 60 countries and territories.
"I'm proud of my colleagues at MSB for their hard work in achieving this excellent outcome," said Raju Balakrishnan, dean of the school. "It is great to receive external validation once again from AACSB for the quality of our degree programs. Now it's time to focus on making things even better."
