At UBalt, finding your favorite food or drinks is easy and convenient. Look no further than the UBalt Student Center, our hub of student activity where you can relax, socialize or find a quiet spot to study while you are grabbing coffee or a bite to eat between classes.
Kosher sandwiches are available on the first floor of the Student Center, along with other kosher certified items. Across Maryland Avenue from the Student Center, a kosher microwave is available for our students, faculty and staff who keep kosher. More details below.

Conveniently located in the main lobby of the UBalt Student Center, the Hive offers snacks, drink, light lunch fare and more.

Flying Fruit Café: John and Frances Angelos Law Center
Located on the 6th floor of the Angelos Law Center, the Flying Fruit Café is open Mondays through Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The venue serves Starbucks coffee, including lattes. Fresh-baked muffins and cookies are available every day.
Looking for a quick midday or late-afternoon meal break? The Flying Fruit serves hummus and pita, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, salads and sandwiches. Make sure you check out the buffalo chicken wrap!
Kosher Options
The Marketplace, a convenience store on the first floor of the Student Center, sells kosher sandwiches from Herris Gourmet (which meets the Glatt kosher certification). Also, a kosher microwave is available at The Associated during weekday business hours. Anyone who wishes to use the microwave may present his/her Bee Card at the front desk. From the corner of the Student Center, cross Maryland Avenue and enter at the front door near the alley; the address is 101 W. Mt. Royal Ave. (410.727.4828)
