Graduate Students Outside of Maryland:
You pay in-state tuition if you
live in:
- Washington, D.C.
- Virginia: Arlington, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren counties. As well as the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Manassas Park.
- Pennsylvania: Adams, Chester, Lancaster and York counties
- Delaware: all counties

- A course load of 12 credits or more per semester is considered full time for undergraduates.
- Web classes are an additional $41 per credit hour of tuition (in state) or $64 per credit hour of tuition (out of state).

Taxation / Estate Planning / Certificate in Family Law
There is no full-time tuition for taxation programs (LL.M. in Taxation, M.S. in Taxation and Certificate in Estate Planning) and the Post JD Certificate in Family Law. Choose the number of credits you'll take this semester to determine your tuition. Please note that you must take 6 credits per semester in the academic year to qualify for federal financial aid. Tuition and fees for these programs are charged as follows:
- Auxiliary Operations Fee is $28 per credit (from 1-12 credits). The full-time rate of $336 applies to 12 or more credits.
- Student Services Fees are $24 per credit (from 1-12 credits). The full-time rate of $288 applies to 12 or more credits.
- Student Center Fees are $36 per credit (from 1-12 credits). The full-time rate of $432 applies to 12 or more credits.
- Student Bar Association Fee is a flat rate of $37 per semester.
- Technology Fee is $12 per credit (from 1-11 credits). The full-time rate of $144 applies to 12 or more credits.

You are responsible for paying your bill on time. If you do not receive a billing statement at least one week prior to your processing due date, call the Office of the Bursar at 410.837.4848. Non-delivery of the billing statement does not release you from the payment or late payment assessments.
