GameLab
The GameLab is designed to support interdisciplinary research in games and media. It is located in the heart of Baltimore at The University of Baltimore. Funded by The University of Baltimore Foundation, the GameLab was founded in 2014 by Sujan Shrestha, associate professor in the Simulation and Game Design program. The lab complements classroom learning and prepares students to apply their knowledge to meaningful applied research in games and emerging technologies.
Our core focus is to develop meaningful technology and explore complex issues in society through research, design, and education with community partnerships. This educational research facility is equipped with immersive, visualization, and interactive game technologies.
The GameLab invites artists and scholars in the field for various activities including workshops and art exhibitions. Visit the GameLab Blog to learn more about other events.

Invited Art Exhibition
The goal of this online virtual exhibition is to augment and represent a diverse array of interdisciplinary artists in the Baltimore region. The hope is to promote creative momentum in this challenging and unusual time of isolation now and moving forward, and to include many voices in this conversation within our community.
Our online exhibition series features the two student artists, Chantil Hunt Estevez and Nicole Jansen, class of 2021 in the Simulation and Game Design. We invite and encourage you all to click through their self-curated gallery of artworks.
